Day 335

Passage Jouffroy-

As a faux Parisian like myself, I love exploring the city by going on little walks. From walking with friends and talking about everything and anything, to walking by myself and getting lost in my own thoughts. Every walk is therapeutical and a great way to discover the city's secrets.

Recently I have been on the hunt for the old Parisian passages. Most of them date back to the 19th century; The oldest, Passage des Panoramas, dating back to 1799. Each passage has its own personality. They have cute restaurants, yummy patisseries, unique little shops selling from fancy canes, miniature objects for dollhouses, to even selling crystals.

The one I went to is called Passage Jouffroy. It is located in the Grands Boulevards area. Actually There is a few in this area but this time I only took very little pictures of this passage which I regret. I should have taken more even though I checked out so many fun stores. For sure next time I will take more pictures of the shops and the little discoveries they have to offer.

Hotel Chopin- 46 Passage Jouffroy - 10 Boulevard Montmartre 75009 PARIS

The Hotel Chopin is actually inside the Passage Jouffroy, It was constructed in 1846, the same year as the passage. The tall, sleek look really caught my attention. You could just feel the history standing in front of it.

*I will be on the hunt for more of these passages and I PROMISE to take more pictures :)
